On June 21, 2007, Gershow Recycling along with the Patchogue Lions Club sponsored a day of fun and entertainment for local elementary schoolchildren. News 12 aired a segment entitled "Christmas in June" to mark the event.

Gershow Recycling has always had strong ties to the local community. We frequently send out the Gershow Recycling Report to inform local residents about what's going on with Gershow.

Gershow also prides itself on the active role it takes in providing for the community and its educational foundation.
